John & Rich(FL)...thanks for your follow-up comments.

I seriously appreciate your remarks John and I greatly value your expertise & professional opinions. I tend to dream big and that leads to thinking large also...so when I look around for opportunities, I say "why not?" Some of the greatest success stories in America came from unconventional thinkers...which would include most of them I'd imagine. Even on the never-ending stream of infomercials and direct advertising seem to focus on some area of home loan/mortgage financing..ie Ditech & Countrywide.

For me, I like to think in terms of duplicating successful strategies many times over with as many individuals/partners as I can reach out to. Just while browsing yesterday I found a company doing coast to coast purchasing of mortgage-backed private notes located near Knoxville,TN...(see http://www.tnhomesrus.com) I know nothing whatsoever about this company or the folks running it, but it appears that they are quite successful and have a very nice, but simple website. It's clear that to be successful in any form of business (like notes/mortgages) you have to have a serious web presence. The old adage "the internet never sleeps" is never more true. As I was commenting to Rich(FL) earlier this week, in response to the seeming low percentages of privately-held paper compared to the total number filed each month, "don't be discouraged by this...as interest rates start to creep back up again, so will the volume of purchase money mortgages begin to rise."

So I'm actually expecting a substantial flood of paper to begin moving now and for several months & years to come. This can only translate into a bigger pie for all to share in...and trust me, I plan to have my share and more. Just felt like commenting on my amateur status as a rookie broker/investor and encourage as well as challenge everyone to stay the course for the long term and you will succeed beyond your wildest expectations if you plan your work and work your plan.

Thanks John & Rich,

Michael (Noma,FL 32452)
