As far as learning the business, start with the free articles here and the almost 2000 posts in this forum. With that alone, you will have a very good education. In addition, there is a free "e-course" over at www.papersourceonline.com that I hear is a good intro to a beginner.

AVOID the expenisive seminars, services, mentoring, etc. There is a great deal of high quality free information to give yourself a foundation and then my and others courses that are quite reasonable.

"Flipping" notes is over-rated, over-hyped baloney. You can actually learn to buy notes for your own portfolio and get paid to do so. If you jump into trying to be a flipper or bird-dog, you will waste time, money and energy.
