Factoring vs Notes?

I can't decide if I should pursue notes or factoring. Regardless of what industry I might select, it just seems factoring would be easier to generate 30%+ per year on my money because it seems like it would be easier to find clients than it would be to find good notes. Do anyone of you note pros have any thoughts about factoring? I'm assuming you guys can let me in on the downsides of factoring, which is what I'm looking for. John??
