There are over a hundred ways to find paper. Search the archives under "finding notes" or "finding paper" and you will learn many sources and techniques. Mailing lists is usually very un-productive and costly.

It is usually suggested by people at seminars because it sounds good and sounds easy to someone who doesn't know better. It's almost a sure sign that the seminar promoter really doesn't know what they are talking about or are trying to sell you a noteholder list.

For the time, effort and money there are many, many, many better sources.
