Discount Note Course

Mr. Behle,

First, I am an REI newbie, so forgive the terminology if I get it wrong.

Late last night on television I watched an infomercial about a discount paper system. I can't remember the exact name of the course (although I recorded a portion, I am currently away from home), but there was even a plug by Terry Vaughan (from CREonline). Do you know it?

The worked like this:

The course buyer uses methods provided within the course to identify discount note prospects.

The course buyer provides information via the web to a "network" of buyers. If purchased, the course buyer earns a commission dependent on the deal.

What is your opinion?

Would this be useful for newbies until they learn the process and find hard money lenders in their area?

What is the best "basic" course a newbie can get regarding paper?
