88-160K is quite a bit to pay for this situation. The royalty is also quite high. If it is a proven turn key system, it could be worth it, but I wouldn't suggest even considering it without talking to at least 5 of their franchisees. Of course, they would send you to the most favorable, so ideally, you would want to find a variety.

Franchises are sold through a "Uniform Franchise Offering Circular" which addresses risks, services, fees, default procedures, etc. Have them send the UFOC and Operating Agreement and review it carefully.

Like a stock offering, it may tend to appear quite negative. There are specific questions that need to be addressed with a very large focus on the risks.

Their costs aren't out of line for a working franchise, but it all depends on their systems and follow up. Putting together and running a successful franchise is a monumental task.
